Ryley Carlock & Applewhite is pleased to announce that W John Lischer has joined the Denver Foundation’s Professional Advisors Council.
John is a Shareholder practicing in Colorado. He concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and trust and estate administration. He is a frequent lecturer on estate planning, estate administration and charitable giving. Until recently, John practiced in Arizona, where he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Community Foundation from 1988-2000.
He joined Ryley Carlock & Applewhite in 1970 and previously served as the firm’s Managing Shareholder and as head of the Scottsdale and Sun City offices. John also served as Managing Shareholder of Lischer, Batts & Lyons, P.C. An AV-Preeminent Rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, John has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1993 and in Super Lawyers since 2007.
Prior to joining the firm, John served as a Law Clerk to Justice Lorna E. Lockwood of the Arizona Supreme Court (1968-1970).
