Ryley Carlock Expands in Denver

Hires Randall Alt as Shareholder
Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, a leading law firm in Arizona and Colorado, today announced it has hired Randall G. Alt as a shareholder in its Real Estate, Lending and Financial Institutions practice. Alt joins Ryley Carlock from the Denver law firm of Otten Johnson.

Alt has extensive experience in complex commercial real estate purchase, sale and financing transactions, receivership issues, loan workouts and restructuring (representing both lenders and borrowers), foreclosures, commercial leasing transactions, title insurance and title related matters. In his previous firm, Alt served as chair of the firm's recruiting committee.

"We are very excited to have Randy join us," said Melissa Schmucker, who heads the firm's Real Estate, Lending and Financial Institutions practices. "As a practitioner with a wide range of skills, Randy is perfect for today's Real Estate climate - offering clients a broad base of knowledge and experience to approach virtually any legal challenge."

"Randy is known for his intense focus on the legal needs of his clients. He is also widely known in Denver and his personality draws quality people to him. As a firm in growth mode in Colorado, bringing Randy aboard is an important part of our strategy," said Rodolfo ("Rudy") Parga, Jr., the firm's Managing Shareholder.

Alt represents banks, insurance companies, developers, leasing companies, corporations and investors. He has extensive experience in both complex real estate transactions and in working with emerging companies and entities on their real estate needs.

"I have been impressed by the people of Ryley Carlock," Alt said. "Their top rated expertise as one of the premier lender's law firms in the West was a natural draw, and the opportunity to work with Andy Folkerth (who heads the firm's Real Estate practice in Denver) was one that I could not pass up. I look forward to working here and to future growth."
