Ryley Carlock & Applewhite Appoints L. Shannon Bryant as Firm Executive Director

Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, a leading regional law firm serving the West from offices in Arizona and Colorado, today announced it has appointed L. Shannon Bryant as the Executive Director of the Firm. Bryant, who has served at Ryley Carlock for 17 years overseeing HR and other administrative functions, will oversee all administrative and support operations of the firm, including IT, human resources, office support and finance.

"Shannon has been an invaluable asset to Ryley Carlock and Applewhite throughout her career here, and never more than in recent years as the firm has grown substantially," said Rodolfo (Rudy) Parga, Jr., Managing Shareholder of the firm.

"We are grateful that 2011 turned out to be a very strong year for the firm, and that we were an important part of helping our clients meet their business goals and objectives," said Parga. "Shannon's leadership and the performance of the entire administrative team played a critical role, in that success and will do so in the future," he said.

Ryley Carlock & Applewhite has approximately 120 lawyers in Arizona and Colorado, and operates a nationally recognized practice area known as "DCG," or Document Control Group, which assists companies and other law firms in the management and review of electronically stored information (ESI) and hard copy information. DCG has review centers in Phoenix and Michigan, and 2012 may bring further expansion to that effort. The firm is also actively recruiting and hiring lateral attorneys. In 2011, the firm added 11 lawyers in Denver from the former Isaacson Rosenbaum law firm, and also recently added a corporate and securities associate to its growing corporate practice in Phoenix. The firm and many of its lawyers are listed in Chambers and Partners, Super Lawyers and in Best Lawyers, and the firm is rated as a Top Tier law firm in banking and finance by U.S News and World Report.

"As we continue to grow, we are focused on creating a dynamic environment where professionals can develop a very successful career -- among our lawyer ranks, and, as in Shannon's case, among our outstanding administrative support," said Parga.
