Ryley Carlock & Applewhite Welcomes Douglas M. Bean to the Firm

Ryley Carlock & Applewhite is pleased to announce that Douglas Bean has joined the firm as the Director of eDiscovery for the Document Control Group (DCG).

In this role, Doug helps to oversee DCG operations, responds to opportunities in the marketplace, and anticipates and confronts eDiscovery and document review challenges facing clients around the country. Having served in eDiscovery leadership roles for nearly two decades, from the industry’s infancy through its maturation, Doug brings a unique perspective to modern-day eDiscovery practices. Now, as a leader in Ryley Carlock & Applewhite’s Document Control Group, he is looking forward to helping chart the course for eDiscovery’s next evolution.

Before joining Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, Doug spent 17 years guiding Fortune 100 companies through large-scale, high-stakes eDiscovery, document review and litigation technology projects. During that time, he personally led and managed eDiscovery and document review efforts associated with more than 400 nationwide, complex litigations including forensic data collection, technology-enhanced analytics, complex eDiscovery processing, and attorney review/production. One of Doug’s key strengths is integrating clients’ eDiscovery and broad information governance systems to achieve optimal results and security.

Doug earned his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Bachelor’s of Arts in Philosophy from Brigham Young University.
