Ryley Carlock & Applewhite is pleased to announce that Debra Conroy has joined the firm’s Tax & Estate Planning practice. She will serve clients in Denver Steamboat Springs and throughout Colorado.
Deb helps business owners and families confront the legal, tax, and organizational issues associated with building, maintaining, and transitioning businesses. She routinely counsels families, farmers and ranchers, restaurateurs, physicians, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals.
Deb has significant experience with business succession and estate planning, business formation, taxation guidance, and the interpersonal dynamics that frequently come into play in these matters. In handling everything from simple to complex business transactions, she helps her clients resolve issues related to real estate, oil and gas, securities, and closely held business matters. In her estate planning practice, she assists individuals and families with simple and complex estate planning including wills, trusts and associated tax matters.
Deb earned her law degree from the University of Oregon in 1999, her L.L.M. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2001, and her B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University in 1996.
