Phoenix, AZ -- Ryley Carlcok has added James O. Ehinger as a shareholder in its Litigation group. Ehinger is a trial attorney with extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation. He has conducted numerous trials in both the state and federal courts and has handled more than 50 appellate cases.
"This is a terrific development for our litigation team," said Rodolfo(Rudy) Parga, Jr., the firm's managing shareholder. "What is great about Jim's background is not only his deep courtroom experience, but also his breadth of knowledge, including a deep understanding of business transactions and disputes in Latin America," said Parga.
Ehinger's focus in the area of international law, includes both litigation and business matters, with an emphasis on transactions and disputes involving parties in Latin America. He served as the Arizona International Monitor for the historic 1994 South African National Election ending apartheid.
Prior to joining Ryley Carlock, Ehinger was a partner at another prominent Phoenix firm, and began his legal career in California. He holds an MBA from the University of California Berkeley and earned his law degree at the UCLA School of Law.
"Ryley Carlock has been continuing to add to its litigation bench and capacity, and I think is very well positioned to assist companies of all sizes with their disputes. I am very happy to be with a team of experienced and talented litigators, as well as in the company of great lawyers in all the other areas where Ryley Carlock has depth and strength," he said.
